Obviously. I meant they will not buy one because then they would not be a true "bow hunter".

I don't care what anyone uses when it's legal. But it's perfectly reasonable to debate whether or not it should be legal at the same time as regular now hunting.

The performance is much closer to primitive rifles than it is to Compound bows...at least at distances within 60 yards.

Crossbow performance is a hell of a lot closer to compound performance than a primitive rifle. To think otherwise is ridiculous.

Agreed. How could it not be when the top tier of compound bows exceeds the performance of the lower tier of crossbows? Now the crossbow is easier to shoot increasing the shooters performance maybe, but again that's the shooter and there are a million other factors affecting that.
