Hi all
Looking for place to take Grandkids. In area they are beating me up about not catching any thing. We tried the pier in Slidell no luck several times.

Go along the road by Bayou Lacombe. People crab there all the time.

By the foot of the north end of the Hwy 11 bridge right where that canal empties out into the lake. I've fished there a few times and caught a couple reds off the bank.

Bridge on Carr drive is popular for craving. Throw a line with some chicken in the end, pull the crabs up. They have to be running though

Lake Road is best in the early morning. It is easy to crab down the road. Most people are using stings with chicken and nets. We drove down there Wednesday to see what was going on.
***BONUS: The store across the street from Lake Rd. has great fried chicken. ***
