Is there a place off the road to crab/fish around freshwater city? If so should I go there, Cameron, or the Rock to crab/fish. Buddy of mine wants a bull red so I was thinking Cameron but fishing forecast isn't looking so swell so maybe it would be better to go somewhere closer like the Rock or Freshwater City. Any suggestions? We definitely want a load of crabs.

Here is the deal.....you better get out there before sunrise. Like at 5 in the morning to get a spot. Do not go to Rutherford. I would also stay away from Cameron. I would go to Rockerfeller. Get there super early and you should have some success

I'm pretty sure Price Lake Road is closed at The Rock. You can call the office over there at 337-491-2593 and check.

We've done good over there the last couple weeks out at the dams, but you'd need a boat.

it's closed.

I've seen people (old men) get run up on shore by other boats being assholes at rockafeller.

be careful, and realize there will be LOTS of asshats

Borrow a boat if you have to and take that to cement weir and LSU weir at the rock. Even if you get there early, they will crowd you.

Get a boat and head to Grand Bayou weir in Big Lake. Early!

Why is Price Lake Rd closed? I was hoping to get out there later this summer. Is it temporary?

I think they're doing some work back there putting in some new weirs and maybe a fishing pier. That's just what I've heard.
