anybody know how much i'll have to pay?
Haven't heard of anyone paying more than $100 for any repair.
Buddy had his completely smashed, put shards of glass and pieces in box and sent it in and they offered him a replacement pair for $100. This was 4-5 years ago.

tell that to the military and the duck commander guys...
I talked to Jep a couple of weeks ago in Huntsville Al and he was out and not at an appearance and he was wearing old school Costa Fathoms.

My BIL sent his glass ones in because the lens popped out. They wouldn't cover it and he had to pay 120 for repair. He was so pissed he told them to keep them. In the other hand, I have always gotten mine fixed for 16.

I love costas but as I have posted before the warranty depends on who you speak to when you call them. They have been horrible on warranties sometimes
They made me pay $90 to fix my mom's. Nothing she did, the damn things just fell apart.

What I have
Oakley
What I want
Maui Jim
I have limited options when it comes to glasses because of my giant melon.
I don't like plastic frames. The metal frames in Costa's line don't fit my head/ears. The rubber was just too big and the arms were too short.
I've been eyeing those MJ's for a bit. Can the frames be adjusted for the water head that rests on these shoulders?
On topic- I didn't even try to warranty my oakleys when I scratched the shite out of them in a drunken stupor. I just ordered new lenses and new rubbers and replaced them myself. Cost a $100

I like those oakleys more. The thing about the oakley metal frames are they are just so tight on my melon.

spend an hour in BPS yesterday evening trying to decide. What sucks arse is you can't get a good idea how good they work in sunlight conditions inside of a store so all i could goo off of is what others have said and how they fit my face.
I wanted to get these Maui Jims Longboards so bad
They were lighter than the Costas i tried on and the optics appeared to be very good in the store from what i could tell. They only had rootbeer frames and i believe that was the game changer for me since i am pretty much stuck on Tortoise frames.
Think i'll save up and get me these for driving/everyday life glasses.
Ended up getting the Costa Jose's. Tortoise frame,580g glass, green mirror.
They fit more snug to my face than any other pair i tried on.Liked the way they looked and i know i'm going to love the lenses for fishing inshore.

i've got a pair with green for inshore/fresh and pair with blue for offshore. the different lense colors do make a difference.

You know you can ask the associate to walk outside with you and try them on
