cost to install patio extension with pavers

Looking to have pavers installed to existing concrete slab and extend patio with additional pavers. Rough estimate is about 400-500 square ft. The area would need prep work to lay foundation. Anyone recently have similar work done what was cost with labor?

Hire some high school kids. School is almost out for the summer.
Buy your materials and let them get to it.

Idk where you are located, but in the dfw area pavers are being installed for anywhere between $15 and $20 a foot. That includes all materials and labor

I wouldn't know what labor costs because I spent Saturday digging out mine with a shovel. I spent about three hours one Saturday measuring it out and tilling it up, and I spent about 6 hours this past Saturday digging it all out. Overall its a 202 sqft area that I dug 7in deep. Next I'm going to grade it about 1in every 4 feet to make sure it drains out of my yard. Then pour the gravel and sand, and finally, lay the pavers. I did everything myself, so I think you and two other people could do all the prep work for yours in one Saturday.

And it will look like it was done by high school kids.
