How can I tell if the set has a premium drill in it? I haven’t seen any advertising as so

Just replaced my old Dewalt 20V set with this set (minus oscillating tool). No problems with my old set other than the chuck on my impact, just couldn’t pass up the Black Friday deal.

It will mention it on some kits but the brushless XR hammerdrill/driver (DCD996) and the non-brushless DCD980 & DCD985 are the drills to look for. The Rohm chucks have hex flats at the front.

im probably pushing the limitations of a drill and the impact driver would be better for that situation.

The little Dewalt impact driver is a must have, worth every dollar, will sink 6 inch lag screws in timbers with no sign of a strain.

They were out of stock, so I got the Ryobi set......since September, it's been solid on the jobsite.

Amazing how yours last and mine don’t. I have 6 batteries that are JUNK. With that being said I love the tools.
