tell them you don't answer questions and ask if you are being detained followed by a lot of cursing. Make sure to record it.

Interior light on. Hands on steering wheel so they can see them. Tell them if you are armed. Tell them window is broken and how do they want to proceed.
Do as you are told. No sudden movements.
On another note. Look at 1aauto.com for your window regulator. They even have how to install videos for many of their parts. When I did mine the original was riveted in so I had to drill out one side of the rivet and replace it with bolts(furnished with regulator). You should buy a door trim tool before starting and it will keep you from breaking the push clips.
Its not hard, took about 45 minutes but could do in 20 next time, now that I know what to do.

I'm surprised this thread has gone on this long. Lots of different opinions here, and and that's what the vast majority of the info is .....opinions. One thing that should not be subject to opinion: do whatever is legal and required by the laws of the state you're traveling in. Having said that, here're my opinons. This is what I personally do and have recommended to others, including my adult children:
1. Kill engine.
2 Turn on inside light if at night.
3. Roll down window (except for you).
4. Get concealed card and driver's license from wallet and hold them in your hands.
5. Get insurance card and registration info from glove box (some say don't do this while the LEO is in his car as you don't want it to look like your getting a weapon; I think he'll be at ease if you get the info while he's in his car running your plates since your next step is going to be...
6. Put both hands on the top of the steering wheel.
7. Give the LEO your driver's license and cc license when he walks up to the driver's side window. I don't say things like: "I've got a gun," "I've got a weapon," or "I'm armed." That's always sounded to me like it could potentially intimidate some LEO.
8. Follow his instructions.
Since you can't follow step #2 (at least yet, until you repair the window ) I would instead hold up your DL and CC id card to the driver's side window, look him in the eyes and tell him, "My window is broken. What do you want me to do?" I do not inform LEO of any weapons in my car if it's not concealed on my person, unless he asks.
Not all states require the driver to notify the LEO of his concealed gun. LA does. When traveling outside LA,, I always tell the LEO so I don't have to remember the different laws of every different state. A friend's' personal experience a few months ago w/ a TX LEO officer, suggests the LA concealed carry data base is shared w/ TX.

I don't say anything. I hand him my driver's license and cc license at the same time. I then answer any questions he may ask and follow his directions. The last time I got pulled over the trooper asked me to get out of the vehicle. As he approached me I gave him both ID's. When he saw my co license he asked me where it was. I told him it was behind my right hip (but I didn't reach or point). He said something like, "That's fine, just leave it alone." I replied, "Yes sir" and the encounter went smoothly.
