I have been trying to fix a bedroom slideout issue for a couple of months ...at first it would go out, but go sideways trying to bring it in...1 of the 2 motors changed...
Same situation..this time the other motor and controller changed...
This time it won't even move 2 inches out on the first trip out....
House battery is fully charged and shows appropriate amps.
The RV place claims the slideout is square...30 amp is fine...
Schwintech frigging piece of crap slideout mechanism.
Any ideas where to look next.

Check if there is a Facebook group for your particular RV make and model and ask there. Usually get lots of ideas and suggestions.

Great idea on the RV owner Facebook pages – some of the RV brands have very active and vocal owner groups. Another source is to poke around YouTube searching for your RV manufacturer and the slide out manufacturer. There is a lot of content out there on RV's.

I had a similar issue with one we rented a few years ago. After doing some research, there was likely something wrong with the power source at that particular campsite and it caused the slide to go out unevenly. We had no issues over the prior two weeks and had no further issues once we moved to another site. Are you getting this issue when plugged in to the same outlet every time? If so, you may try taking it somewhere else and seeing if it goes away.

Haul it over to RP customs & trailer repair. They’ll get it right.
