I'd say bring it back to the dealer you bought it from, but...

Any reason you chose to purchase vehicle in TX, and not near home???

Op should have thought of that before, as part of the "cost". Technically the local dealers will have to service it under warranty but he/she should not expect the same level of service as those who stayed local.

Human nature and all.

The service depart will get paid the same on a warranty so what does it matter where it is purchased...

You should expect the same level of service.

I was a GM service advisor for years.

Glad you could add some intelligent input into the conversation, I think they’re all pretty competitive. Think we are about to go try Sewell and see how they are....

I'll give you one to avoid. Supreme Chevrolet in Gonzales. This place is terrible, I don't know how they are still in business.

They don't give a shite where you bought it from. If it's under warranty, the dealership that works on it gets paid. If it's not under warranty the dealership that works on it gets paid.

I always buy from over there. Louisiana dealers rip you off every imaginable way possible.

All-star north is good if you don't mind the drive up there or are close to there. I say this because I know a few of the guys that work there. They are also a lot less busy than all star in town for work that's more involved than oil changes.

ETA: If you're needing warranty work, call ahead and ask how long it will take them to get to it and that may change your opinion as well. All star in BR is currently at about 2 weeks before they can look at anything. Or were last week anyway.

But they get pressure from the boss to fix their customer's first. The will fix the truck but not until they take care of their customers first. They don't work for GM. It's just a fact of life that down votes will not change.
