Back in the olden days, people camped out because they didn't have a house or more suitable structure handy. Not because they liked it. I enjoyed it as a kid, but I'd just as soon never sleep in another tent again if I can help it.

I like to RV. If I must sleep outdoors, I just keep drinking until I pass out.

I hate tents. But love sleeping in a hammock. Never sleep in a tent again hopefully.

Damn...all kinds of hate up in here.
I love camping with the kids and the dog. Good stuff. especially when you've got good terrain for hiking and good temps for sleeping.
