I agree. The NRX is the tits.

I've sold off most of my various name brand rods. For bass and redfish I have only been using Kistler in the KLX and Helium 3 series. The blanks are made by Gary Loomis, and then Kistler puts the rods together. The rods are great, super sensitive and preferred actions. I have really been enjoying them. The "light medium heavy rods" in Helium 3 are perfect for the marsh.

Chags Tent sale will get 50% more crowded tomorrow as all of their vendors are bringing in more gear at even steeper discounts. Saturday tent sale is always the day to go because you won’t be able to get their gear cheaper any other time of year. Earlier you go the better because a log of fishing guides come in and buy up lots of gear.

I have 4 deltas (2 casting and 2 spinning), 2 coastals, and a couple of Savannahs thet I use for loaners. The coastals are excellent for topwater, the Savannah’s are nice but really aren’t anything super special. Just a nice rod for the money. For a few more bucks, the Deltas, now Etlad, are amazing. Super light, super strong... these are my go to rods.

Went to chags this morning and held a few cajuns. Have to say my first impression was they were heavy. Thought maybe I had grabbed a lower end model so looked at the tag and it was over $300. That said, I watched a guy demonstrate how they could bend completely over without breaking, and went on about how they have a lifetime warranty. If I were in the market for a tough inshore rod I think they'd be ones to consider but if you're looking for light and sensitive not sure they fit the bill.

The Revenant series is pretty heavy and I don't care for how they feel in your hand, but the Atled/Delta is super light.

Picked up a Cajun Custom "trigger" series rod yesterday. Will report back after I fish it. Wanted a rod to throw 1/8 oz. jig heads.
