Bowfishing- Deep Delta (Captain Rodney)

Going tonight for the first time out of Port Sulfur. Anyone ever been (Deep Delta or otherwise)? How was your experience?

I've been bowfishing a lot but never paid a guide for it so I really can't tell you what to expect

never fished like that, prolly never will but I've not heard alot of good or bad things. but it seems when you do hear something bad about bowfishing, this guy is involved.

You sure it's this guy? I heard bad things about Lousiana Bowfishing but now from Deep Delta but I could be wrong.

Nahh,Deep Delta is good.
Pretty sure Marsh something else or the other is the guys you're thinking about.

The only negative is they, and others, are on the verge of ruining a lot of good kayak spots down 23.

I went with Deep Delta 5 or 6 years ago and had no complaints. Don't remember who the captain was but he was a good dude. We were all terrible shots and he stayed at it until we had our limit. It's a fun experience..not something I'd want to do every weekend but it's fun every once in a while.

they have already ruined alot of my spots to fish.
Don't wanna get into it but I don't agree with bowfishing reds, etc at night.

How does this work? You just call the guide and setup a date? Are you from down there or do you stay in a hotel or what?
