I drug my ole boat out of the weeds and decided it was time to get it ready for fall fishing. first off I drove it to local shop for 3 new tires bearings packed with new buddy bearings and a new tail light on the trailer. right at 500$ including new tag registration. In other words got the trailer work done. Yesterday we dropped it off at Ascension Marine motor cleaning and check, new bimini top, dash rewired, and two 8" steps installed to go from bottom to front deck its 2 ft step and a bit much for ole guy with bad knees I can handle regular steps just fine but after a few 2 ft steps I am done.

I am addicted and love boating but no matter how you do it boats are also money pits

doing the best that I can life changes as you age and the boat sat alone for a few years Now I decided its time to write off my fishing bucket list. To do it I have to repair the boat and our camper. They both need a some work. Finally feeling good enough to try and see what I can do.

Sell both and buy newer ones! haha
My old trusty boat needs some work done to it also. Think I’m gonna uses her till she sinks then get a newer one.

Thinking this will be my forever boat. But if I do sell it it will be to down size a b it and fixing it to good condition will let that be an option

I( feel ya pain man. Now that I am struggling along on social security I assure ya this is a ton of money I spent half the first T before I got it to the shop on the trailer

Don’t forget to add the fact that any part with the word “marine” in it has an automatic 200% markup in price
