How's the bite been lately. Haven't fished it in years looking to give it a shot. TIA

Don't go on a west or southwest wind. East wind should help with salinity this week. Just have to be mindful of storms popping up.

Went yesterday. Water was beautiful and salty everywhere i went. tide flatlined around 730 unlike the prediction but we still did ok. River will be rising for the next couple of days which will mess most of black bay up for about a week. there are spots that stay clean with high river if you know where to find them but I'd wait till Miss. river level at NO is 8 feet or less. we have been catching fish in the last bays before black bay (lake campo, oak river bay, bay gardene)
