How's the run from campos to black bay and Eloi? I'm taking my son and friend on a pontoon boat and was wondering if that trip is doable. My second choice is island marina and stick to lake borgne. Thanks

Thanks. I'm always paranoid about new places. Friends I work with said they had good luck around black bay Eloi and Iron Island Tuesday. 60 trout in 5 hours or so.

I wouldn't take a pontoon in any open large lake or bay tbh.

I thought this was sarcasm, I wouldn't take a pontoon into Eloi and Definitely not Black Bay. Stick to Lake B and hit the rigs. Trout are there and it's a lot less risky in that boat with your son and friend.

Good deal thanks for the tip. We'll stick to Borgne and hit the rigs. I'll post what we catch. Glad I checked back on my post. Have a good weekend
