I have a pair of the 8x32 BX-4s that I bought mainly for turkey hunting. I’ve ended up using them quite a bit in the deer stand too though. I’ve found them to be pretty good in low light. Better than my bx-2 acadia 10x42s I think. Although I haven’t compared them side by side at twilight.

I have a pair of bx2 alpine and a buddy has a pair of bx5 and we looked through them side by side and the 5s are noticeably better at legal shooting time and a sharper picture.
That being said my bx2 allow me to see as far as I can shoot 300-400yd all the way till legal shooting time. I can see if it’s a shooter deer or a pig can’t count points.
If I was in a strict lease of needed to look farther or stayed on the glass 5-6hrs a day like I did out west I would upgrade.

Most of us aren’t in the right tax bracket for that OP, here’s a deal on Leupold BX-4 12x50s… LINK I’ve had to convince myself multiple times that I do not need a 3rd pair of binoculars. ETA: If I was hunting out west a lot and spent a ton of time glassing, I’d spend money on some Swaros, but I find it hard to justify spending that much to hunt whitetails in LA and MS.
I use my Cabela’s card points for a lot of stuff I buy. Works out pretty good and helps lessen the blow when buying good equipment. Try to get something nice once a year or every 1.5 years.
Bought a $800 Leica range finder this week for around $200 out of pocket. Bass Pro has 15% coupon if you shop on Monday’s during the holidays and are a club member.

I brok down and decided I need another pair of binoculars last night.
