Nice shots and my hat's off to you for doing it on a bike.

It surprised me to see Black Bears there, even more surprised to hear they came up from Mexico.

Just read an article about how well the bears are doing in the park this year. It's great to have them there.
I plan on going to Boquillas soon just to cross and have a beer in Mexico. I live about 130 miles from the north entrance to the park.
Me and two other guys rode Old Maverick, River Road and Old Ore Road in the same day. The sand on River Road was tough to ride and the rocks on Old Ore got me.

Holy crap, not too many people around there. Not sure I could live where you do and stay sane. While driving to the park we put on the audio version of No Country for Old Men which is pretty surreal when making that drive given all the small towns featured in the book.

Beautiful country out that way. We made a trip down there while working just north of Fort Stockton last year. It was hot as hell and the river looked like chocolate milk. Gorgeous all the same.
