That would be weird going into that pile of fish and ending up in the belly of a whale..

My list, they are very close for me:

1) Yellowedge grouper
2) Yellowfin tuna
3) Cobia
4) Triple tail
5) Trigger fish
6) Other groupers (black,scamp,etc.)
7) Swordfish
8) Red Snapper
9) Mahi
10) Flounder

I have never been a big fan of wahoo and I tried it tons of times. I had a endless supply of fish growing up so I got to sample everything.

I know a lot of people love Chilean Sea Bass (Patagonian toothfish) but I think it is overated and overpriced.

In my list I only listed gulf fish but I really do like canadian salmon(love the smell of it-whole fish almost smells like watermelon),sockeye salmon, king salmon, and halibut.

The only fish I don't like is oily or bloody fish like mackeral(all types), bluefish, bonita, etc

Ive caught more halibut than i ever have anything out of the gulf so im sticking with my answer.

But for what i catch regularly, its hard to beat a good size catfish. Crappie is up there pretty high as well
