Plan on going to the bridges this weekend to catch some trout but also wanted to get on some reds. Anyone know the best place to go. I know you can catch reds at the bridges but I never have. Also I hear you can catch drum on the twin span where is a good place to start. Fishing North side BTW.

I have had some luck east of the Rigolets bridge or out by the train bridge

I have had good luck in the smaller cuts around Unknown Pass, the cuts toward Little Deedee and Seven Lagoons area, usually on a falling tide. There are some nice flounder there too.

Man, if you have enough boat/time, just run to Biloxi Marsh. You'll be done in about an hour.

My 16 footer isn't crossing Lake Borgne unless the weatherman guarantees......wait, never mind.

Gotcha. Go then to that marsh off Unkown Pass. I think that's what we call "the duck lease".....
It's not as good as Biloxi Marsh, but we've caught a bunch of reds in there.....
check this out....one time, last October, we were in there, fishing a cut in the marsh. water ROARING out of there. Serious business, we were anchored up, throwing at the cut. If you threw to the left of the cut, redfish every time. Right side, a trout every time. trout were small, reds were nice...also, same trip/same spot, birds started picking a little bit in the marsh, right in the same pond that the cut roared into.
was the first time I had my father in law with me. was newly married.
great trip.

I checked the map and the Rigolets is about the same distance from my condo as Biloxi Marsh, so I see why you suggest it.
But I will go there with a neighbors until I upgrade boats.
I had a few trips like that to Unknown Pass as well. Reds and flounder on the shallow side and trout (specs and white) on the deeper side. When the water flows, that place is awesome.

Is unknown pass across the ICW from millers bayou?

Yes, Miller's hits Unknown Pass right at the ICW. If you're coming from the east end of Lake Katherine it's the best way to get there.
Helpfull hint: If a pop-up storm hits, take shelter under the railroad at Miller's or Unknown. Saved my but once and caught some drum there too.

Where do you like to redfish in the Biloxi marsh? I seemingly always have trouble finding the, even though everyone always says its good fishing. I've been trying to run through stump but often get close to being stuck and turn around. Don't have to share your honey hole, but point me in the right direction.

You have to hug the left shoreline in stump coming from la Loutre. Go to Delacroix, reds are thick down there.

Man, I'm not sure how to explain it (really), and this will not be at ton of help, because I live in Monroe, and go with a friend that belongs to the Tally Ho Club - make it down there about 3 - 4 times per year.
What we do is this. And this is from memory/from a non boat owner/guy just along for the ride.
Coming out of the Chef, pretty sure we run past Proctor's Point.
Once you get past the Point, look for this rig deal that's only about 400ish yard off of the marsh. It's by itself, pretty much nothing else around it.
About a half a mile south (or southish/past the rig) is where we go into the marsh.
Seriously though, from what I've seen, you wouldn't need to know the hot spot/right pond to catch fish in there. We seem to do better in the bigger ponds, and my buddy does have some that he prefers over others, but based on my ten or so trips down there with him, it's just a matter of getting into that marsh, and throwing baits.
He almost uses a redfish magic exclusively. I throw a gold spoon and catch about as many as he does.
