I inherited a small 14’ Jon boat with a 90s era 25HP Evinrude w/ tiller handle.
It’s got the push, electric start on it. But my understanding is this thing hasn’t been cranked and ran in years.
Would like to get it going, but would feel better if it’s been worked over and tuned up.
Who do you recommend for a smallish job like this on an older motor?

Greenwell Springs Marine does great work.
If you're in Ascension Parish, Jerry's Boat Service is as honest as you can get.

Do it your self. Its super easy. I just rebuilt my 1985 25 hp mercury. Carb kit cost about 30 bucks. and a hold complete kit cost around 400 bucks. Best parts go to www.wsmparts.com.
