Best boots/shoes for standing/walking on roofs?

I’m about to start a part-time gig helping my buddy with his roofing company. I won’t be on roofs that long, kind of a temporary appraisal of damage. But I ain’t trying to fall off and kill myself. I’ve been up on ‘em with my tennis shoes that have plenty of traction and work just fine, but I think I’d rather something that looks more professional, for lack of a better word. Any suggestions?

Residential slopes roofs? If so, I’d go with a comfortable boot being you’re going to be up and down ladders a good bit.

By a lot. Careful when walking up there. When that grit comes off the shingles it gets easy to slip.

Cougar paws or any shoe with foam sole. Do NOT get up there in sports shoes.

I would try Golf Shoes or some Baseball spikes.
