How to pronounce Doirin? I have to go see a guy in Thibodoux next week for work with that last name, and I have no idea how to pronounce it. I've been fishing out of Doirins landing in Stephansville, but don't know how to pronounce it.

Same way you say Bergeron, except replace the berge with "dwah".

dwah-ron (ron pronounced like Jean)

Anyone pronounce Perez, "Pee-res"? I do.

Also say "Die-az" for Diaz.

My grandmother on my moms side was a a Bergeron. Berg is pronounced like vag in vagina but with a b. eron is similar to the pronunciation of the word wrong without the g at the end. So f it was spelled like it sounded it would be Bagwron (g having the j sound)

An area/road in West Monroe, spelled 'Cheniere' is pronounced 'Shinny'

when I lived in West Monroe for a little while, I was freaking flabergasted that this is the way they pronounced that word.

Could tell that people up there didn't have a lick of French ancestry

Also how people from LaSale Parish say. Lah-SAUL
