Right now in firearms its the 3 Bs, and Rem doesn’t start w/ a B. Find a gun that fits you and away you go. From my experience the fit of an 1100 and A300 or A400 is pretty much the same. The only Rems I see these days other than older 1100s are the versamax. They seem ok but are heavy.

I hunt with the black , I would recommend keeping the outlander clean . I love mine ...

Alright, now that I'm decided on the A300, should I go with the black or is the camo worth the extra $130?
I would go with the black. You can always get it cerakoted or dipped later with the money you'll save.
My one piece of advice though, get your hands on one before you purchase. Maybe it was just because I had been shooting a heavy 1100 for many years, but the balance and swing of the synthetic A300 felt odd to me.

I went with the wood stock, but i keep mine in a case until i get situated in the blind, then i take it out and load it, so im not real worried about dropping it in the water. Also, im OCD with my guns, they are wiped down after every hunt, and broken down about twice a season to be cleaned. I was more concerned about the barrel rusting more than the stock swelling, but it comes with the same barrel as the black synthetic, so its no more prone to rust than the synthetic.
As far as the camo goes, my buddy has one, and i used it a couple times before i got mine, and it was fine, but i wouldnt pay extra for the camo over black synthetic, but thats just my opinion

The camo finish is nice. Unless I was going to cerakote it, I would get the camo.

Yeah that's just not realistic where I hunt which is all walk-in public land. Often times it is strapped across my back when I'm walking through some thick stuff and inevitably gets the butt wet once a hunt when we are sitting on marsh stools.
I wipe down my gun after every hunt and fully break it down probably once a month during the season, but the stock always seems to swell.

Kind of what I'm thinking. $650 vs $780 for the same gun only one is camo. Hmm. If I can find a good deal on a camo, I'll probably get it, but otherwise I'll just roll black.

You really cant go wrong with the camo or black.
You can also ghost load the A300. Ive done it once with skeet just to see if i could, and it worked.
