I got the StingerX last year for right around $350. It is fun to shoot, haven't had a chance to knock anything down with it yet.

Picked up a Cabela’s Optimus made by bear last week. It’s a nice, smooth shooting bow thus far.

OP - do you live in Bastrop per your profile ? If so, why not go to Simmons and visit the archery department to get fitted and test drive the various makes/models ?

Honestly, I'd stay away from BPS/Cabela's and go to a pro shop that specializes in archery
