Wow, did not see this one coming. Bear Creek Arsenal, the king of the budget brands, is now putting out an AR-format rifle for about 2 grand, in long-action calibers (30.06, .270, 300 Winchester Magnum).
I saw it on this guy's review LINK, he does a nice job of looking at it. And his definitely likes the 150 grain ammo, if you see his groups.

The larger the round, the harder it is to make reliable in an AR platform.
I hope they just miniaturized the Barret 50 Cal design, otherwise this thing is probably going to be a shite show in terms of functionality. Also, who wants to take a 15lb rifle hunting?
