Thinking of taking off a little early from work and scoping out the area and I’ve never been. For those who have fished it, what are some good bass lures for that area?
I’ve been pretty spoiled the past few months with whacking trout, reds, and bass with just jerk baits or Matrix Shad in Chalmette.

All you need is either a senko Black with blue flakes are zoom fluke green pumpkin magic or watermelon red.

June bug speed worm. I’ve done better there with a chartreuse/blue back/ orange belly bandit. Have used the cataouatchie special and they seem to like the blue better to me. Blue/white/chartreuse spinner bait with white trailer has murdered them in the dead ends/gulf canal area.
