My PB was at Fork as a teenager in the 90s, which was only 6.5#. Had to throw her back since she was just inside the slot which back then was 22" I think.

14 bags at 30+ and 69 bags at 20+ is mind blowing. Top 50 cut line should be an interesting number to watch today.

Also crazy that Lee Livesay (winner of last 2 at Fork) and heavy favorite only had 3 for 8-4.

I am at Fork now fishing/spectating. We were up in Little Caney yesterday in a small pocket. We actually saw two or three nice fish on live scope in 8-9 feet. I caught one about 4lb and was trying to catch the bigger one that was in the same area. About that time Ito comes rolling in, so we just backed out and let him have that area. Watched him catch an 8.6lber that we had just been throwing at. When he was idling out he waved at us and said thank you, thank you. I know, CSB, but it was actually pretty neat to watch these guys fly in to these pockets, zip around and immediately find these fish, drop their power poles and catch em a few minutes later. He actually had a camera boat behind him at the time. Don’t know if that footage has been released yet.
