They’ll also be making an aluminum boat. I don’t know if they plan to unveil one at the expo, but I’d definitely like to see what they have to offer. I’ve been looking hard at the Ranger aluminum.

There's alot to like about the new crop of aluminum boats, especially for the waters that I imagine most of you La. baws fish.
But I will be doing a lot of my fishing on Hartwell, Murray, Eufaula and Santee-Cooper, so that kinda rules out the reality of going with aluminum for me. Santee it would be fine if you stayed in the upper lake but the lower lake can become an ocean on windy days.

We bringing a few sacks of crawfish and boudin. We will have some boudin at the Missile Booth. As long as Wally Marshall doesn't eat all of it

The aluminum is the one being revealed. Glass boats won't be until later this year

On the road. Just outside of Opelika. I’m keeping up with the basstrak. I left my charger in my bag and Live was eating up my battery. Next pit stop I’m grabbing the charger.

He's thrown back 15 for 25-11 without putting any more weight in the livewell, every fish is right at or above 2 lbs. He must be pissed and excited at the same time.

Does anyone know of any good online sales during the Classic? I know Tackle Warehouse used to do one, but it doesn't look like they are doing it again this year.
FWIW - went to LA Sportsman Show yesterday. Bowie had $10.00 off MSRP on the Shimano Reels and all Falcon rods were $25.00 off. Pretty good deal on the rods in my opinion...

Some big names at the bottom of the board, but the field has been moving all day. A lot of these guys are filling limits with spots and pecking away at a bag but not catching any real weight. Still time for anyone to get two big bites and jump up.
