I am on my 2nd year with one and my dad is on his 3rd. No issues from either machine so far. Both yards are fairly rough so that drew us to the thicker decks on the bad boys. None of the other brands were within 1000 for similar mowers in our area.

commercial Toro

there is a reason toro is the choice of the biggest percentage of golf courses around the world

but avoid the consumer mowers of all brands including toro deere husqvarna hustler etc...at Home depot tractor supply lowes etc

The difference is the frame, deck builds. Engines, drive assemblies and spindles are common to all of them and need to be compared by model for apples to apples

I have a Grasshopper and love it. They are on the high end but they dont skimp on anything. No plastic or small knobs and parking breaks like pretty much every brand has. They dont make a single residential mower. Even the 42 inch has a "commercial" engine with the big airbox.

Id put Gravely and Toro a step behind them. Exmark is just a Toro with less features.
