In the 50s is fine. If it was a guy shot, the animal will be alive well into the night.
Last year, I went back at 10 pm on a marginal bow shot. The buck was dead in a creek. I gutted him in the creek and he was fine. It was a warm night, so I didn’t want to wait til daylight.
