I also do not recommend.

Save the money and spend it on another magnifier with better quality.

So, I’m taking a chance on a Vortex Strike Eagle 1-8x24.

Palmetto has a sale this weekend if you by the scope and the mount, you can use coupon code “strike” and get $300 off.

$350 paid

Vortex Strike Eagle 1-8x24 Gen2 - $499

Vortex Sport Mount - $119

Optics Planet has some great deals on Vortex Strike eagle 1-6 and 1-8 right now.

You just have to take a chance that you may not get your scope for a month.

I try to avoid optics planet. I tried to buy some body armor from them in 2020 when the SHTF in some places. The back order timeframe had come and passed and they kept giving me the run around.

I do not like to put a magnifier behind a red dot. I prefer LPVO on my ARs. Burris RT6 for the win

A local store had a Burris RT-6 for $369. The guy behind the counter talked me out of it because the warranty isn’t as good as Vortex’s warranty. I wouldn’t know so I had to take his word for it.

Burris has a great warranty. I thouhgt it was life long just like Vortex. I have 4 Burris 1-6.5x scopes and love them. Their about 8-9 yrs old and my main rifle probably has 10-15k rounds thru it with the same scope.
