Anyone use sugar beets to attract deer?

if so do you find this to be more beneficial than the typical corn and rice bran?

I've tried the sugar beet blocks and even the hogs won't touch them

good to know it seems like the deer we have in clinton dont follow the "typical" when it comes to what deer like

Know one guy that says they are the best thing since sliced bread. I've tried them in several parts of the parish and haven't had any luck
