My buddy asked me to get his generator and pressure washer running for him. Typical clogged jets from ethanol on 2yr old equipment.

Got them both running, but the pressure washer isn't putting out as much pressure as it should. The pressure coming out is a little more than hooking it up without the motor running.

Hose isn't clogged, pump is turned up all of the way too.

Have any of yall ever attempted to rebuild a small pump like this one? I have only done bigger ones, and had good pumps on my pressure washers, so it hasn't been tough.

It is an Annovi Reverberi if that matters

Not mine so I ain't buying shite. Not even gonna go to the store unless I am bribed with a Sammy's prime rib poboy.

Did you tear them apart and find the failure points? I am figuring it is just seals

No we didn't tear apart. The pumps were only 40 dollars.

The rebuild kit was 25

I'm bout to YouTube it. It is pumping, and the seals look good, so I have no idea.

Gave up for the day

Relief Valve and not to be a dick but make sure your water hose is turned all the way on. Could be an NPSH issue.

Haha, yeah I double-checked that.

The relief valve is the one that cranks up/turns down the pressure?

I haven't taken that part of it apart yet, but the rest looked good as far as I could tell

Replacement pump is $200+.

I hear the new style maxi pads are heavy when wet.

Did you even pull that blower?

I hear ya. Had my last midterm today(2057). For some stupid arse reason, it is my favorite class this semester. Not supposed to have favorite classes in engineering

Hammer, I think you know this, but if isn't a Cat or a General, it's considered a throw away.

Yup. All we really do is triple integrals all of the time. The hardest part is figuring out the bounds. My Calculus skills are great, it's just my algebra that needs a little polishing

From what I read, it is a solid pump. I have always used CAT pumps though. The inside looks quality built so I have no idea what it is gonna turn out to be

Eta: A new one is like $250, so it can't be that shitty

Well the pump was pretty clean inside. Couldn't get the relief valve off because it is corroded on there, but am gonna let PB Blaster work on it overnight for me.

After some head scratching, I took the hose apart and blew in it. No air came out of the other end. Son of a bitch is clogged. Might have to bring it to a shop to get blown out tomorrow
