Thinking of two day trip this week, not finding recent reports of charter fishing

Maybe I’m alone in this, but I’m not wasting money on a charter out of there not in snapper season. I can inshore fish at home, or bring my yak and do it myself.

Now early season snapper is great, and it’s a short boat ride. Different story. Lot less sharks too.

I've been 3 times over last decade....fishing is just not that good....nothing like Louisiana! Pretty water, and fished old wreck sites, no rigs!

Still fun, but go with low expectations, IMO.

If you've got a smaller group check out Cpt Brooks Moore, Dark Thirty Chaters. He'll probably be too high $ if its just you and a plus 1.

Old friend from grade and high school. Good dude.
