Generac makes great stuff. Ive got one I got 10yrs agoand it has almost 500hrs on it and only thing Ive had to do was clean the carb once cause I forgot to put startron in it.

Yeah, both cheap but I figure they'll do the job. I think you have to order within the next 20 minutes to get it tomorrow.

UPdate: I bought the Generac 7500, returned it after talking with my electrician. Biggest reason was lack of a 50amp plug. Returned it today, i'm going in with him and we're ordering a 4 pack of the duromax xp10000e generator for $899 each. I've seen nothing but good reviews on the brand so that is a little comforting.

This is the best deal I've seen lately
They have them at Sam's for $899.00. Electric start, hour meter, etc. Best of all it's powered by a yamaha engine, not some knock off.

I can run my whole house minus Central Air,Hot Water Heater and Dryer on that same genny only mine has a B&S engine. I have a second one that strictly runs a 240v window unit and my Hot Water heater but not at same time.

you can get more amps out of the unit out of the 50 amp plug than the 30. 30 cuts you off at 30. This unit will get you up to 33.3 amps before cutting off. NOt a huge deal but every amp could count...
