Yep, did mine over my patio. Not hard with 2 people and 2 ladders. Not seemless but they look ok. Also, I don’t think HD or Lowe’s sells anything but white so you may have to paint.

Looked online but for such a small amount the shipping was crazy expensive.

I have before but seamless gutters are really cheap- so cheap it’s not worth it to do it yourself

I did my own copper gutters. Used rain chains so no downspouts to mess with. The soldering wasn't too bad. I think they make a sealer you can use if you dont want to solder

So I thought Id have to do my own cutting...but lowes has all the different pieces (corners/downspouts/etc), so it just looks pretty straightforward.

The ones you put together yourself will cost you close to what you can get seamless installed for. And they suck. Get seamless.

Seemless is way better in both looks and function. Although if you need to save some money then go with the sections. You might not save that much though. The more you have to do the better price per ft you'll get from a gutter guy. They really don't want to come out to do straight 20ft section so they will charge accordingly.

I bought the material at a contractors material shop, contacted a gutter contractor who bent the metal into a seamless gutter for one dollar a foot. Installed them myself. 24 foot gutter and two downspouts cost me about $120

I installed the pvc ones from home depot or Lowe's. I pretty sure they have held up well. I installed them at my parents condo ten years ago and haven't heard anything about them since.

I would say if you're doing a small amount, then do it. Otherwise I don't think they look as good as seamless. They were pretty easy to install though.
