Used a paddle board for the first time on vacation and it was surprisingly stable. Thinking about getting one for the lake by my house. Seems like it would be fun to fish off of and to get a little exercise. Something like this.

Hooksets will be very tricky. Good luck

Yep. Look at the Bote line. I love mine, not a fan of fishing out of a kayak.

Hook sets are not an issue at all. Putting fish on stringer/in basket was challenging the first time but not for long.

I bought one a few months ago to fish Reggio. I really like it. The one I bought (used) is RotoMolded and super stable. You get used to fishing off of it pretty quickly.

I had a KC Kayak prior, and much prefer fishing with the SUP. I like the ability to always stand. I have a K2 ice chest I sit on when paddling. Here is the one I have.

Good buddy has a Bote board. It’s more stable than my kayak, but more difficult to paddle. I think it’s even got holes for a power pole. You shouldn’t have any issues fishing off one.

I want to say a gal that won the Ride the Bull Tourney in Grand Isle was on a paddle board a few years ago. Nothing to back that up, but believe I heard that. You're welcome for the valuable input.
