Up here, someone like that would be prosecuted and laughed out of the state. But to each his own.

This is kind of like saying "with all due respect, you're trashy."
There was no need for this comment but you wanted make sure people knew you are the great white hunter and have no need for such technology

Had it been very clear we wouldn't still be discussing it on page 6.

I dont have to dislike you just because I disagree with you though.

I am honestly interested in how you feel the game cams provide a sporting advantage? I think ALX is too.

See what I mean? You're jus naturally a dick. You call people booger flickers and try to put people down. If you can't understand why you're getting confrontation, you never will

People get their feelings hurt too easily, again, which makes it impossible to have a conversation. I am gonna simplify this.

Every one of us have a differing view of what is sporting. Even here (god help me, no one get upset) we have to resort to legislation to define what is and what isn't because we don't all agree. It's illegal to fly and shoot game on the same day.

Pointing out differences isn't judging. It's a bit sad people can't see this. Please review the OP and subject line, it is asking for opinion, I gave mine and like I predicted, people got "butt hurt" for no legit reason.

The purpose of the thread was to hear opinions on if something was sporting or not. For those who cannot stand dissenting opinions, I don;t know why thy click on these threads.

Dude, you gotta stop getting your feelings on a discussion about taking game. If you dislike discussions, even civil ones, refrain from reading them. I have made my point many times but you still think I am trying to put you down, I am not.

Do you have ambiguous feelings about this subject and hit a nerve or something. Spill it. I am open to discussion here.

I completely agree. Stating your opinion is the point of the thread not aligning yourself with an entire state and a supposed unified view of what is acceptable and what is laughably unacceptable.

Enough of the banter. I am still interested in why and how you feel a game cam gives a sporting advantage.

I never said it did. My opinion is that if a game cam gives a sporting advantage, I am against it. Mainly broadcast cams. As posted previously, I am probably putting a trail cam up behind the house to watch a brown bear.

Here is my opening statement. Or most of it.

I have my own opinions which will probably be drowned out. But I also feel the hunting experience depends on the one doing the huntin

Looks like I was right.
People just took a word or two and got feelings hurt.

I aint reading all that shite, but I think they are fair. They haven't helped us kill any deer. We have pictures of some of the same monsters year after year and we can't kill em. It's nice to know they are there though. It's also cool to kill one that you had a picture of.

Use your own advice and see my OP. I said I was on the fence about them and missed the old days of being surprised by what you saw on your place. I only bow hunt and I mostly hunt over scrapelines, trails, edges etc. And not cornpiles. So we have similar views and I was defending you as being a decen poster with good intent. But you overlook all of that and continue to act like I have a problem with your stance on game cams. Talk about reading comprehension.

As far as I know, I have not addressed your hunting habits. Not once. Somehow you are taking this all personal.

I havent seen one PIIYB or csb yet. I understand what you're saying but there will be arguments on the OB sometimes. Roger thinks I'm being sensitive and taking things personally. I'm just trying to explain to him that he could express his views on this subject without comparing AK to LA. There is no difference. Alaska has way more public land but it's just as illegal in LA to use them on public land as it is in Alaska. But for some reason you'd be laughed out of Alaska for using them.

Have not kept up with this thread, but yes, Roger is a colossal douche bag. Takes some beautiful pics and it's cool that he lives in Alaska (I think), but he is still a colossal douche bag.

Yes, disagreeing with your opinion equals douche bag.

The level of maturity here rivals the OT.

Still don't get it? There seems to be a common theme on here and you should realize it's not your stance on things but the way you go about posting them. Call everyone sensitive or whatever, but usually when it's one against five, that one is being a douche.

Review this thread and decide who the "douche" is. I stated an opinion, and have been met with nothing but insecure drivel.

The problem was you assumed things that were not there.

Whatever bro. First step is admitting, and you are obviously in denial. But I haven't been called a douche or tool one time and I have the same view as you on the camera matter. I think they're cool to put up around the camp and look at animals but I don't really use them to find deer to hunt.
The difference is, I didn't put anyone down. And when you said you'd be laughed out of Alaska for using them, knowing most of these southern boys use them, it was a backhand statement whether you admit it or not.
I'm through with this discussion as hard as it will be to refrain from your next ridiculous rebuttal
