Anybody found a way to paint fast grass that doesn’t wash off?

That stuff looks awful with it all the same color. We hunted a green levee this year and we would paint the grass mats green, but as soon as it would drizzle, it would wash off. And I hate using cedars.
I know duck season is a long way away, but I’m bored and sitting in an airport.

I have always painted mine with spray paint and it never washed off. What kind of paint are you using?

We would always paint ours green early in the season. As the season goes on and you run the boat it fades to brown/green by the seasons end and blends in. Never had it wash off.

Sorry, I was talking into the phone.
Are used regular spray paint and camouflage spray paint and they both washed off

What fast grass? Tanglefree works for us. we tack it or wire tie it to a blind and spray paint it with camo spray paint. sometimes black or green. I've never seen it wash off.

Not sure of the brand. Got the 4x4 mats at G&H. Another blind I hunted they had the same problem.
Maybe we suck at using spray paint

I sprayed mine at my house before I put it on the blind. Then I put it in the garage for a few weeks and I still have the paint on it after 2 years.

Damn, all the ones I’ve ever used pretty much rot after a year.
