Details matter. The condo may lend itself to a nice spotting scope on a tripod. Then you can get something like this to share pics with your OB brothers.

I have some $120 Redfield that are very good. They just aren't super light but the glass is great compared to my buddies expensive stuff.

I have a cheap pair of vortex that have almost the same magnification as my scope....my scope is a low power Leupold because I dont need to make any shots further than 150...

All this does is prevent me from having to raise my gun to check out a deer or sounds in the woods...good enough for me. Dont invest in something you dont really need. You dont need to see the ticks on the deer.

Sometimes there's enough light to make a good shot on a deer........but you need to be able to see if he's one you want to kill first.
