It's an interesting article if anyone wants to read it

Just read it and the Ford and Toyota won in every instance yet they put the Dodge out front?

I think that was a bunch of Dodge engineers running that test.

Performance and dependability aside, Rams are ugly and their interiors are nothing special at all.

My 02 I loved the interior. Way more room than others at the time. But very blah now IMO

Yes. Because Ford, stupidly, thought it would be a good idea to send a reg cab/short bed truck. The Tundra was good in some aspects, but sucked in others (they state them in the article). The Ram placed 1st, 2nd, or 3rd in every test...it was the best overall value. Better interior and mpg's than the Yota and 2 more doors than the Ford. It's honestly a toss-up between the Ford, Toyota, and Ram IMO...assuming Ford would have sent a 4 door...but that's not why I posted the article. Was really trying to show just how craptastic GM's offering was...the 10 year old Titan edged it out.

This is my 2011's interior:

This is what my 2004's interior looked like:

New interiors are miles ahead of the old ones.

2012 Ford F150 Lariat:

2012 GMC Sierra Denali:

2013 Ram 1500 Laramie:

2012 interiors for the other two are carrying over for 2013. Ram just announced the new 2013 refresh last month, so that's why I used it.

Yeah, I don't care for the chrome they put on the Laramie and Laramie LongHorn trims. That's why I opted for the sport model...everything is colormatched. Only things chrome are my rims.

ETA: But I'd take a 2013 Laramie in a heartbeat. Lots of new features are available on them:
-Self leveling air suspension
-stop/start technology
-7" color display in the gauge cluster
-8.4" nav system
-new chassis
-optional 8-speed trans.
-projector headlights
-grill shutters for aerodynamics
-updated interior

And a few more things I'm probably forgetting. The air suspension and interior are what really catch my eye though.

I don't like Ford's, I say* I'll never own one, but I've always thought they had the nicest interiors.

I remember when the Denali packages used to be the beez kneez....that looks like shite compared to the other two. Is that a turn knob gear selector in the Dodge?

Very cool indeed. I've come to the realization that I don't need all that fancy shite in a truck though. I actually use it as a truck, so I'd feel bad spending all that money to get that fancy stuff dirty. The F250 I just bought was an XLT but I came VERY close to pulling the trigger on a XL package with the power windows/locks/cruise options. Just because it would be stupid easy to keep the floors/seats clean.
