I am in the process of turning my 16ft flat boat into a duck hunting/fishing machine. The boat is currently rigged up for purely fishing. I am in the process of trying to strip things down a bit to get to a good starting point. I need to rewire the boat and add a few accessories. I am looking for some recommedations on:

- A good LightBar (front of the boat comes to a V, so I'm thinking two small bars running along the V)
- Any general electrical advice (good fuse box/switch bar/maybe a combo?)
- Any advice on painting the boat camouflage - how hard is this to do for a non-professional? Is there anyone in the BR area you would recommend?

Surely I will have more questions along the way - I will keep y'all posted!

Tinboats.net is a great site for Aluminium boat mods.

I've just rewired my boat I don't have a light bar but I used a blue seas fuse box and bought the label kit off of Amazon for it. I bought my fuses and fuse box off of genuinedealz they have good prices. As for painting aluminum camouflage I would get a stencil kit if you want it to look professional. Google reelfoot stencils, I think they have eBay knock offs too.
If you want it done professionally, you could call gator trax and see what they charge. I know they do boats that aren't theirs occasionally and they are in livingston.

I may be doing the same thing in the future. Do you plan to post pics throughout your process?

I have no experience with it, but a buddy of mine down in Lockport does this. He does great work. Look up Pro Camo on the facespace if you're interested.

Yeah, I plan to post pics along the way. Planning on moving the trolling motor plate over, installing two light bars, changing the live well seat into a gun box, and rewiring the boat.

I'll post some pictures of the before soon.
