I have a problem with Alligator Weed that has taken over one of my duck holes. Does anyone have any good solutions to killing this stuff with chemical herbicide. I thought I had it knocked back with a glyphospate but with all the rain we just got it looks like the weeds are back better than ever.

I would personally hit it with another dose of glyphosate...put some soap in too, to make it stick...

I mix 2-4D, round up and a sticker/surfactant. That kills everything except salvania.

Do you find it works when sprayed on aquatic vegetation?

If it's growing on top of water or floating it's dying. Think we killed coontail with a hot mix once, but no we don't kill much of the SAVs .

My Subaru helps me take care of alligator grass without the use of chemicals.

Surface drives would be left high and dry. How ironic that a lawn mower engine can cut up that kind of grass...

Strong dose of 2-4-D, which you can buy at any hardware store, will kill it.
