I vote .270 that’s still my favorite hunting round. Point a shoot within 250 yds (very flat shooting) and a 130 grain bullet at 2900 fps is devastating on white tail.

I have one (Big Horn Origin with criterion barrel) that I can get 140gr bullets up to 2900fps.

I get a flat primers when I do that but that's all. That's equivalent to the 6.5 PRC.

My kid shoots 7mm-08 and handles it fine and my buddy's kids shoot 308 and handle it fine.

I think they are what and what.

125 gr reduced recoil for the 7mm--08 is a real pleasure to shoot.

Has a little more pep. Nothing wrong with the creedmoor we have two at the house I just prefer the 270 personally.
