Are y'all putting these on guns that are already threaded for a suppressor or is there some way to put them on any gun?
Savage Mark II came threaded with a heavy barrel. Bought for this reason. It’s a nice little rifle and cheap. Couple of issues that can be corrected. The stock feels cheap. The mags are crap but I’ve found a nice aftermarket solution.

There is a guy in Gonzales/Prarieville area that started making cans like look really nice. Cans are about 600-650 for large calibers. Threads barrels for $150. Not bad price for a turn key operation

Why are suppressors more than new barrels for example
Titanium.
Look at rimfire suppressors with stainless steel baffles. They are in the $219-329 range.
Now compare that to a 7.62 full auto rated suppressor with titanium baffles.

SIL has his paperwork in the ATF to build his own, it's been about 6 weeks with no word back from them.

They should be close. They just approved my form 1 from the last week of Jan
That is putting it mildly. Approvals have gone from 9-12 months to under 2 weeks. I've bought 7 suppressors since Jan 1 and almost all have been approved in less than a week.

Can you buy these like buying a gun now ?
No, the process is still the same albeit more streamlined than years ago.

When I search on the app they all show up as “new” but nothing in stock yet.
Yeah, there are problems w/ the search engine. When I searched on line from the website, they showed up. I tried to refine the search and they disappeared, never to be seen again. When I searched w/ the Academy app, they showed up again.
