Check for power feeding control transformer. Then check for power on the secondary side.


Think of the transformer as a way to divide the problem.

If there's power on both sides it may be the thermostat. Or something else on the low voltage side, and you can rule out the high voltage problems.
If there's no power on either side look for a tripped breaker or blown fuses. You have a high voltage problem to solve first, and then possibly a low voltage problem to solve after.
If there's power on the primary side of the transformer but not the secondary, the transformer is bad. .

Negative, call a/c service guy and get a determination plus written estimate on what he believes caused problem. Once you turn a claim in it can’t be taken back no matter what anyone says, it’s on the record. If the claim is less than deductible your policy still shows a claim.

A/c guy came today.
Circuit board is dead.
About 4-500 to fix.
Lennox system.
