Does anybody have any insight to the .38 super?
I was looking at some pistols and noticed this one. I'm interested in it, either the Kimber or Colt model.
Like I asked, anybody have any insight to gun?
And if so, what and where can I find some good ammo?

Awesome caliber that used to be popular with comp shooters.

Still fairly popular from what I've seen. But the guys who shoot it have to be pretty uptight about policing their own brass, understandably.

38 Super is a great round but I wouldn't buy one unless you plan to handload. It's pretty rare to find a hardball box of the stuff.

Cabelas used to always have a couple of oddball brand boxes, nowhere near cheap though.

1911's need to start being chambered in 357sig
