I purchased my truck last week and they didn't have the color I was looking for with the center console. I ended up with the bench seat. I've done a little research and for around 500 I can install the factory console. Any one have any experience with this?
TIA

If you can find a friend with the same truck with the right console, it should be pretty easy. (For review)
I imagine the center console will have some wiring in it for auxiliary ports, etc
There may be a YT on it.

I don't understand with all these far dealerships they couldn't find you one with a center console. ...
Should be a swap unbolting and unplugging some miles mollex connectors. Shouldn't be hard

I think you've got to get one out of an LT. Look for a wrecked one on car-part.com
