I have a Yamaha 90 4 stroke that's about 18 years old. I have it serviced every 2 years and have had no problems. Went to go fishing and it wouldn't start. I checked the water/fuel separator filter and it was filled with water. I also noticed the spark plugs looked foul. I emptied the gas tank, put new non ethanol gas in it, changed the water/fuel separator and put 4 new spark plugs. It wants to turn over but just can't get over the hump. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. TIA

Pull your new plugs and spray a little wd-40 in each cylinder. Turn it over a little bit with the plugs out. spray a little more wd-40, spray the plugs and put them back in a nd try it.

Check all of the fuel filters.

12vts ?
Drain vst.
I would not start that motor until you know the vst has zero water in it, they also have multiple fuel filters.

if it has them, sounds like you do, then your injectors are clogged, they need to be removed and cleaned or it will never work right

Any idea how much I'm looking at $$$ to get the VST drained and to clean the fuel injectors.

Wouldn’t think it would be much. Your bigger issue is you’ll probably have to wait a bit before you can get service

YouTube pulling injectors, vst & and filters. I would send injectors off to be cleaned, bassboatcentral.com has recommendations on the best place to use on cleaning them.
Yamaha dealer will pull you eyeballs out on labor and parts.

also put a 2 micron fuel filter after your fuel water separator, get one if needed.

I've been an advocate for low absolute micron fuel filtration ever since I've owned a serious High pressure fuel injected diesel(duramax)... will extend injector life.

I have 2micon absolute filtration after my Fuel water separator on my HPDI Yamaha 150 for this very reason.
