I am going to semi-retire my kayak for a little while. I will be motorboating until further notice. I will not be paddling any damn where.
On the other hand, I know the capabilities of my kayak in apocalyptic rapids, and I will never bitch about fishing "strong winds" again in NWLA.

Went in dry on me
To add salt to the wound, a sheerwater pulled in to sweetwater the same time we did like no storm was even happening. Said they caught 4 trout, 6 reds and 4 bass.
I was just lucky one of those waves didnt knock my chaw down my throat. If I was going to die I was going to go out with a large pinch of snuff.
